ESCO's® UDD offering takes advantage of Bradken's® years of experience, latest technologies and advancements which culminate in a UDD offering that was undertaken to bring to market a product that achieves all UDD KPI’s and realise the potential of the UDD machines.
ESCO and Bradken have incorporated their experience
and advances in bucket design, so that this offering provides the latest in bucket
performance. The Low-Back and folded corners promote material flow and reduce the
drag fill time. Bucket tapers promote the maximum payload while superior design
prevents machine overload. Extensive research and computer modelling was undertaken
to provide and optimal balance between front and rear hoist ropes.
The result: Optimal production with longer lasting hoist ropes and improved hoist
speeds.
The high strength propreitary alloys used to cast the front ring provide strength
and stability to the UDD’s design. Innovation in Bradken’s construction
method has allowed for production of full penetration welds in all structural components,
resulting in better quality testing and ease in repairing.
The result: Less fatigue cracking and longer campaigns!
